Westlake IT exists because I got tired of seeing good businesses slowed down by bad processes.
Before starting the company, I spent years watching organisations become trapped in endless discussions, layers of approval, and what I can only describe as stakeholder paralysis. Meetings about meetings. Decisions delayed until opportunities had passed. Everyone busy, but not always moving forward.
I’ve always been drawn to business owners and founders because they tend to think differently. They make decisions, adapt quickly, and focus on outcomes rather than bureaucracy. That’s why we work so well with ambitious owner-managed businesses. When they need to pivot, grow, or solve a problem, we’re right there with them.
Of course, we can support larger organisations too. We have the experience and capability to operate in more complex environments. We’ve simply chosen to build our business around people who value agility, accountability, and straightforward relationships.
